The Hawaii-Alaska Chapter of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) will present its inaugural Health IT Proclamation Day & Heroes Recognition Virtual Conference on December 10, 8am-2pm HST. The event is a collaborative effort focusing on emerging technologies and solutions being implemented in the fight against COVID-19. At the conference, the Chapter will introduce its new IT workforce development and leadership initiatives and community partners, including TechForce Hawaii, represented by ES&A Director Sam Sneed. ES&A is the founding organizer of TechForce Hawaii (TFH), a collaborative effort of business, government and nonprofits whose mission is to harness technology and develop strategies to build Hawaii’s capacity to learn, work and live.
