Janelle has more than 25 years of experience in the labor and employment fields. She assists ES&A attorneys and clients by:
- Establishing human resource systems
- Preparing affirmative action programs, drug-free workplace policies, Department of Defense,Drug-free Workplace Policies and other required documents and policies for government contractors
- Reviewing employment policies, practices and forms to ensure consistency and compliance with county, state and federal regulations, as well as company practices
- Preparing job descriptions for clients in various industries
- Conducting compensation analysis
- Conducting research on various labor/employment and federal contracting issues
- Assisting with Department of Labor audits
- Assisting in labor relations and collective bargaining analysis
- Contributing to the development of strategic plans
- Conducting interviews for investigations and litigation cases
- Managing litigation cases; preparing litigation documents under the supervision of an attorney
- Assisting with company reorganizations
- Providing supervisor and manager training
