WHD Poster for Federal Contractors Hourly Minimum Wage Available Online
The U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division (WHD) has published a poster regarding minimum wages for federal contractors under both Executive Order (EO) 13658 and EO 14026. The poster may be downloaded here: https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/WHD/legacy/files/mw-contractors.pdf
The guidelines are as follows:
- If the contract was entered into on or between January 1, 2015, and January 29, 2022, EO 13658 generally requires that workers be paid at least $11.25 an hour.
- If the contract is renewed or extended on or after January 30, 2022, or a new contract is entered into on or after January 30, 2022, EO 14026 generally requires that workers be paid at least $15.00 per hour
- Contractors must notify all workers performing work on a covered contract of the applicable minimum wage rate by either posting the applicable wage determination under the Service Contract Act or Davis-Bacon Act contract or posting the WHD Executive Order poster.
