Updated FMLA Poster (4/23) Issued By USDOL
An updated Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) poster (4/23) issued by the USDOL Department of Labor (USDOL) features a new format and clarifies that a “covered employer” is defined as:
- A private employer that had at least 50 employees during at least 20 workweeks in the current or previous calendar year
- An elementary or public or private secondary school
- A public agency (local, state or federal government)
Note: The April 2016 and February 2013 versions still fulfill the posting requirement.
