2023 EEO-1 Component 1 Data Collection Begins April 30

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) requires the Employee Information Report (EEO-1) to be submitted by all private sector employers with 100 or more employees as well as federal contractors with 50 or more employees meeting certain criteria. This annual collection of workforce demographic data, including data by job category and sex and race or ethnicity, must be submitted to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). The 2023 EEO-1 Component 1 Data may be submitted beginning April 30, 2024; deadline to file is June 4, 2024. Government contractors should ensure that their Affirmative Action Program (AAP) EEO job group categories align with the way they are being reported on their EEO-1 reports.
