The USDOL’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has issued interim “Guidance on Preparing Workplaces for COVID-19” (March 2020, outlining measures employers can implement, including engineering controls, administrative controls, safe work practices, and providing personal protective equipment (PPE). To help employers determine appropriate precautions, the guidelines classify employers’ risk categories (Very High Risk, High Risk, Medium Risk, Lower Risk) based on worker risk of occupational exposure to COVID-19.
