Anti-discrimination protection for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees of federal contractors extended under the Obama administration through Executive Order 13672 will be kept intact, the White House announced Tuesday. The order prohibits contractors from discriminating against employees based on their sexual orientation or gender identity in addition to race, religion, gender or national origin. The announcement followed reports that the Trump administration might overturn the directive.
