Due to ongoing COVID-19 precautions, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has extended compliance flexibility for form I-9 through August 19, 2020. This interim policy allows employers hiring employees remotely to conduct virtual inspections of required documents, then obtain copies of the documents within 3 business days.
