On Nov. 22, 2021, the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) announced publication of a final rule increasing the minimum wage for federal contractors to $15. The rule implements Executive Order 14026, raising the minimum hourly wage for federal contractors to $15 effective January 30, 2022, and beginning January 1, 2023 (and annually thereafter), to an amount determined by the Secretary of Labor.
