The U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) will offer a free webinar on “Final Rule: Defining and Delimiting the Exemptions for Executive, Administrative, Professional, Outside Sales, and Computer Employees,” May 30, 8-9am HST. The USDOL Wage and Hour Division’s webinar will discuss the recently published final rule, which updates and revises the regulations issued under section 13(a)91) of the FLSA implementing an exemption from minimum wage and overtime pay requirements for executive, administrative and professional employees. The webinar will discuss the scheduled increases to certain earnings thresholds required for exemption. The final rule takes effect July 1, 2024. Register here.
