The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has announced it will resume EEO-1 data collection beginning April 2021. Temporarily suspended last year due to COVID-19, collection for private sector employers is scheduled to open in April for 2019 and 2020 EEO-1 Component 1 data. Companies that have filed in the past should have received their company ID and passcode by mail. The specific opening dates as well as the new submission deadline date will be announced on the EEOC home page as well as on https://EEOCdata.org, the new dedicated website for the EEOC’s data collections. A notification letter will also be sent to all eligible filers.
