The Hawaii Department of Labor & Industrial Relations (DLIR) has released a revised wage rate schedule effective February 15, 2021. The rates apply to laborers and mechanics on State of Hawaii public construction worksites in accordance with Chapter 104, Hawaii Revised Statutes, which applies to every State of Hawaii public works construction project over $2,000. The schedule determines the applicable wage determination for each classification and is applicable only to those laborers and mechanics employed at the site of the work.
The updated apprentice schedule is also available online; rates are applicable only to apprentices who are parties to agreements registered with the DLIR and where the journeyman-to-apprentice ratio is met.
