The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has again extended the Form 5500 filing due date for employee benefit plan years that ended from September-November 2019 to July 15, 2020. For more information, see Notice 2020-23. The Notice also extends other deadlines affecting 401(k) and other defined contribution retirement plans, including plan loan repayments, refunding excess contributions, and 60-day rollover period.
