EEOC Publishes New Resources on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Workplace Rights

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) published new resources to educate employers as well as employees/applicants on sexual orientation and gender identity workplace rights. Materials include a new landing page that consolidates existing information and a technical assistance guide to help the public understand recent EEOC litigation including landmark decisions such as Bostock v Clayton County, in which the U.S. Supreme Court one year ago ruled that the Title VII prohibition against sex discrimination includes employment discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or transgender status.
