File OSHA Form 300A Data by March 2nd

Employers covered by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) record-keeping rule must electronically submit data from their 2018 OSHA Form 300A (Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses) by March 2, 2019. Employers are also required to post Form 300A at each covered establishment through April 30.

According to the Final Rule, covered establishments no longer need to submit information from Forms 300 (Log of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses) and 301 (Injury and Illness Incident Report), but the records must be maintained for five years.

For more information on how to submit data, and to review which establishments are covered by these requirements, see the OSHA website.
